Hi, I’m Sophie.

I’m a self-confessed nerd / news junkie who likes to sing (National Youth Choirs of Great Britain) and occasionally attempts to write synthpop. A conflicted classical musician, if you will.

I volunteer for the charity Girlguiding where I haphazardly campaign for gender equality and help as a young leader. In the last year, this has meant speaking on BBC Radio 5 Live and making cucumber sandwiches blindfolded.

This small corner of the internet is dedicated to the musings of someone who can talk about Renaissance choral music and red velvet sponge in the same sentence. Thank you so much for reading and I’m so glad you’re here.

Read my first post here.
